Darjeeling - Singalila
This trek begins and ends in Darjeeling along the famed Singalila range to Sandakphu (12,000ft) and Phalut (11,800ft). A spring-time trek reveals not only stunning views of the Himalayan Mountains but whole hillsides covered with rhododendron and magnolia flowers. Spectacular forests of silver fir, rhododendrons, chestnuts, oaks, magnolias and hemlock can be seen, as well as four of the world's high mountains: Everest, Lhotse, Makalu and Kanchenjunga.
